I liked the book as a whole, but something happened right at the end that I’m not sure was necessary for the story. I think it added an unrealistic level of brokenness to Sloane’s story. Maybe then next book will add some clarity. I hope so.
This was my first for ray with this author. But I am whole and totally smitten. The way she wove these stories had me on an emotional roller coaster. I had no idea whom I was rooting for, but I was definitely rooting for Love. Great read with tons of heart.
As always when I read a Dayo Benson book, I don't get anything else done until I finish it. This was, as usual, a page turner. I am emotionally exhausted by the twists and turns in this story as I felt Sloan's pain, her joy and her sorrow. Can't wait for the next book as I know Sloane will "get there" with Marshall. Great Job again, Dayo!
I think 3 book was just right, too many books and you lose the meaning of the message. It was a great ending and the lesson learned but I wish more time could have been spent on Sloane and Mitchell building their family.
Good read. Couldn't put it down. Full of lessons to learn from. Keeps you guessing what's next. I pictured each moment.
Whew Dayo. This one is different from your previous bible books. I keep wanting to shake Sloane from her spiritual slump. I'm glad Lottie returned to God. Looking forward to the last instalment of this series.
