Great book for beginners! This book was very informative and Its straight forward enough that anyone can do some basic research on Amazon and then apply the steps here. The book covered the basic part of knowing what thing are and what they do. I found the book was very well written for a beginner computer person and Easy to understand. I highly recommend it!

At this point, you have all of the goodies physically in place on your computer but nothing works yet, because you haven't connected anything to the power supply. Thus no electricity can be run through anything and that means your machine can't be ruined on.
And the internet, I'm a gorram genius.When it comes to hardware, I'm compu-tarded.This book laid out easy, well-defined and helpful guidelines and instructions. I tried taking my computer apart a few weeks ago by myself to put in some more RAM to use with AE and PS. Ended up giving up... Putting my fan in backwards... And came close to frying my motherboard due to overheating before I realized what was wrong.If THAT does not deal how bad I am with computer hardware, I'm not sure what will.However, with this book, I was easily able to take my computer apart. Yes, it's how to build a computer, (which it details very well) but with some reverse-engineering, it works as an excellent guide on how to put new things into your computer.After leafing through it some more, I actually sat and read it, and feel enlightened about how to put a computer together. I've been looking at some parts recently... I may scrap out my computer to put together a new supercomputer for my work. After backing everything up, of course.Knowing me, I'm probably going to start a fire. :PBut, for anyone else, this is an excellent guide and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in building themselves a computer.
